Information technology and science: Unique engravings for the Moscow Planetarium are digitized

“Electronic Archive” Corporation has completed the project on digitization of publications of the XVII-XIX centuries by order of the Moscow Planetarium. To scan the sky atlases and maps of planetary motion, made in the technique of engraving, it was used a complex of high-quality scanning ELAR PauerScan2A0.

Presented exhibits give opportunity to trace the major milestones of artistic development included in the Albanian territories of the Late Middle Ages.

ELAR PauerScan has successfully proven itself on projects in Russian museums. The creation of the electronic collection of 200 paintings of the “Memorial Museum of Astronautics” was one of them. Also, by the efforts of the corporation in the equipment approximately 100 paintings from the collection of the State Biological Museum of K. A. Timiryazev have been digitized.
