Book publishing and book distribution: Moscow to be the guest of honor at the Beijing Book Fair

Senior Advisor of the State General Administration of Press, Publishing, Radio, Film and Television of China Soong Minchan invited Moscow to participate in the Beijing Book Fair, to be held on August 28 - September 1, 2013, as a special guest sister city.

“This event is a milestone in the development of our relationship, because so far only states have received invitation to participate in the Beijing Book Fair”, - said Soong Minchan after the held in Minsk in Rospechat the signing ceremony of memorandum between Russia and China on understanding the program translation and publication of works of Russian and Chinese classical and modern literature.

Deputy Head of Rospechat Vladimir Grigoriev, in his turn, noted that China would be a guest of the Moscow International Book Fair (MIBF), which will be held from 4 to 9 September 2013.
