To commemorate the 68th anniversary of the Great Victory: “Children and War” exhibition in Salekhard

May 8, 2013, in the capital of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Salekhard, the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation opens the exhibition "Children and War." The exhibition is held in the Yamal-Nenets Okrug Museum and Exhibition Complex n. a. I. S. Shemanovsky under the support of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The exhibition will run until mid-June.

"Among the exhibits - household items and clothing of children-partisan: kettles, military uniforms, belongings of prisoners of concentration camps", told the Head of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, Anton Gubankov.

The organizers also plan to bring to Salekhard another exhibition from the collections of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia, to coincide with the upcoming 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
