Information technology: The International Semantic Summit in Suzdal
The International Semantic Summit opens in Suzdal on July 17, 2013. The Summit is held by an international organization of STI International, which brings together experts in the field of semantic and information technology.
The organization aims to develop the semantics as a synthesis component of modern information systems.
The summit opens two days after the public meeting of the Russian Council on public data at the governmental commission to coordinate Open Government, held in RIA Novosti, at which were discussed the implementation of the decree of the President of Russia for the accessibility of government information to all interested individuals and companies suitable for automatic processing form.
The Suzdal summit STI is attended by 50 experts in the field of semantics. The main topics to be discussed: visualization and integration of Internet data, properties, evolution and dynamics of the data in the Internet. The reports of the participants will address the strategic perspective of semantics, the scope of use of semantic technologies, the main trends in the development of semantics. The summit will last until July 19.
