Society and media: Media executives of SCO to discuss the creation of the common information space in Moscow

July 28, 2015 in Moscow is held the Forum of heads of leading mass media of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization "Towards a common information space of the SCO".

During the forum participants will "synchronize watches" in the field of media development in the SCO, will discuss the challenges and sharing mechanisms to overcome them. The discussion will examine the political, economic and technological factors and national characteristics of the media, the interaction between the media and the state, journalists and the public, the media's role in international relations, including the context of integration processes.

The main objective of the meeting of representatives of the leading media and experts from 12 States members of the organization, observers and dialogue partners is to identify approaches to the formation of a common information space of the SCO, promoting further cooperation between the two countries.

The forum is organized by the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications and the MIA "Russia Today".
