The Presidential Library: New acquisitions

The Presidential Library collection is filled with new regional publications donated from the N. G. Domozhakov Scientific Library of the Republic of Khakassia and the Scientific and publishing complex "Bashkir Encyclopedia".  

New acquisitions include publications devoted to the history of Khakassia and the Bashkir national-regional encyclopedia science in the XXI century.

- Khakassia  

The publication by A. R. Schneider Districts and regions of the Siberian region (Novosibirsk, 1930) provides an overview of the province, as well as its districts and regions (geographical situation, administrative structure, the national composition of the city and settlements, resources, the main occupations of the population, means of communication, etc.).

The essay by V. K. Khotyanovsky From the past of Khakassia (Novosibirsk, 1934) highlights the historical and economic development of this area, since the XVII century and before the start of the First World War.

The historical essay by essayist and historian V. A. Bystryansky (real name Vatin) The village of Minusinsk (Minusinsk, 1914) dedicated to the appearance of the village of Minusinsk, the Minusinsk District colonization, the history of the village in the late XVIII - early XIX century.

V. A. Bystriansky in the publication of "The City of Minusinsk: to the centenary anniversary of the city of Minusinsk 1822-1922" Part 1: Historical Review (Minusinsk, 1916-1922) spoke about the origin of the town of Minusinsk, about the composition of the city population, employment population in agriculture and industry of the city government and its agencies, the budget of the city and others.

Yearbook of the N. M. Martyanov State Museum in Minusinsk. V. 4, issue 1: 1926 (Minusinsk, 1926) and V. 6, issue 2: 1928 (Minusinsk, 1929) include the following: To the knowledge of the fauna Geometridae of the Minusinsky region, materials to the fauna of Minusinsk region, some Unikat description of the archeological collection of the Munisinsky museum (V. 4); Materials of archaeological expedition in Minusinsky region in 1928, the first period of the archaeological activity of I. T. Savenkov (materials for the biography) (V. 6). 

Report of the Minusinsk District Executive Committee of the Council of Workers, Peasants and Red Army Deputies of the 8th Congress of the District Councils (Minusinsk, 1929-1930) provides information about the territory and population of the region, on the natural and economic conditions in the region, turnover, cooperation, industry, urban construction, district, finance, education, health, mutual aid committees, municipal services of the city and the Soviet construction.

A. V. Kharchevnikov The IV Studies Conference of the RSFSR and the ways of local lore in Khakass-Minusinsk territory (Minusinsk, 1930) discussed the role and tasks of the Soviet regional studies, regional studies in Khakass-Minusinsk territory.

K. M. Gromov Members of the Komsomol and youth of Khakassia in the battles for the Motherland (Abakan 1943) on the activities of the youth in the area during the Great Patriotic War.

Main Topics of All-Russian scientific-practical conference with international participation Historical experience, current problems of Russian regional encyclopedia science held in Ufa on 27-28 September 2012 affected various aspects of encyclopedia science: history and main directions of development of the Russian encyclopedia, the relationship of ideology, politics and encyclopedic case, the universal experience of training, thematic and regional personal encyclopedias.   

Collection of articles "Encyclopedic questions" Issue 1 (Ufa, 2010), Issue 2 (Ufa, 2012) Issue 3 (Ufa, 2013), Issue 4 (Ufa, 2014) highlights the problems of history and theory of world and domestic encyclopedia science, the preparation and issue of Russian regional universal encyclopedias, development of basic principles and methods of preparing encyclopedias industry in the republic and etc.

The preparation of new materials will be continued.
