Memory of Russia: The Military-Historical festival “The Steadfast Tin Soldier” on the Borodino field
Military-historical festival "The Steadfast Tin Soldier" will be held on 28 and 29 May 2016 on the Borodino field in the Mozhaisk district of the Moscow region. Here you can see the times of the soldiers of the Patriotic War of 1812, the Moscow musketeers of the XVII century, Russian paratroopers and brave cavalry of the Presidential Regiment, an artillery depot, hiking hitching post and forge shop of the era of the Napoleonic wars.
The central event will be the program "Through the volatile smoke…", which will begin May 29 with episode reconstruction of the battle of Borodino. It will be attended by dozens of military-historical clubs of Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg, as well as re-enactors from Germany and Belgium.
The armed forces of Russia in the XXI century will present Russian elite army units. Paratroopers will show program based on the martial arts. A cavalry escort of the Presidential Regiment - part of the program of the ceremonial changing of the guard in the Kremlin's Cathedral Square.
