Information technology and regions of Russia: Materials on the history of the Primorye Territory to be digitized

The ELAR Corporation supplied the Municipal Budgetary Institution of Culture "The Central Library System" of the Nakhodka City District (Primorye Territory) with digitization equipment. The Russian scanner Elarscan A2 is installed in the Central City Library.

The central library system of Nakhodka is a network of municipal libraries with a total fund volume of more than 450,000 items. Here they not only accept readers and give them books, but also conduct a great cultural and educational work. Local history activity for the library system is one of the main directions. In particular, full-text databases are created here on the history of the region. Digitization of the funds will allow to expand the library system of the Nakhodka city district, for example, to implement more large-scale local history projects.
