The exhibition "The Land of Heroes and Gods ... Antiquity and Russian culture of the first third of the XIX century" is open until March 4, 2018 in the Pushkin State Museum in Moscow.

The exhibition covers the most diverse spheres of Russian life and culture of the first third of the XIX century. Its goal is to show how interest in the ancient world was reflected in objects and phenomena of everyday life - material, moral and social. The authors of the exhibition devoted an exposition to various aspects of the life of Russian society, influenced by the cultural heritage of Ancient Greece and Rome. This is literature and art, the political and philosophical thinking of Pushkin's contemporaries, architecture, sculpture, interior decoration and even fashion.
