The Smolensk Fortress State Museum supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia has developed a virtual encyclopedia containing information about 16 preserved and lost fortresses from the era of Peter I. In total, the project, dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth of the Russian emperor, will include about 30 objects including the Tavrovskaya and St. Petersburg fortresses, the fortifications of Veliky Novgorod, Azov and Kronstadt.
From January 25 to January 30, 2022, the Bazhov Days festival is held in the Literary Quarter of Yekaterinburg and in the homeland of Pavel Petrovich Bazhov in Sysert. In 2022, it is dedicated to the 143rd anniversary of the birth of Pavel Bazhov, who was born on January 27, and the 130th anniversary of his wife, Valentina Bazhova, who was born on January 25.
The activities of the Imperial Russian Red Cross Society are reflected in the museum, opened in the Ilyinskoye-Usovo Manor Complex near Moscow in Krasnogorsk, in the historic estate of the Romanovs - Grand Prince Sergei and his wife Elizaveta Feodorovna. This building housed an infirmary for the wounded and crippled soldiers of the Russo-Japanese War, equipped by Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna in 1905.
