Olympic Park is located in the Adler district of the city of Sochi, in the Imereti lowland, on the Black Sea coast. It was built in 2013 in preparation for the XXII Winter Olympic Games. The architectural ensemble of the Olympic Park is six sports arenas located around the square in the center of which rises the "Cup of the Olympic Flame". In the park are the main sports facilities, which hosted the Winter Olympics. The main structure of the Olympic Park is the "Fisht" stadium, where the opening and closing ceremonies of the XXII Winter Olympic Games were held. In the Olympic Park are also located: the Ice Palace "Bolshoi", the Ice Sports Palace "Iceberg", the small ice arena "Shayba", the indoor skating center "Adler-Arena", the arena for curling "Ice Cube", two training arenas, winners of the "Medal-Plaza", the Olympic Village, the main media center and other facilities. - In the cities of Russia, hosting matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, installations "Russia 2018" are installed - metal letters of red color, 2 m high, placed on a small pedestal. At night the installation is illuminated with spotlights .
