The stadium "Fisht" was built in 2013 in Sochi, to the XXII Winter Olympic Games. Located in the Olympic Park in the Adler district of Sochi. The stadium is named after the mountain top of the western part of the Main Caucasian Range. The word "Fisht" in the translation from Adyghe language means "white head". The appearance of the new stadium resembles a mountain top thanks to a rising roof top. The stadium has traditional four stands: two lateral, covered with translucent polycarbonate, and two end, open. From the open stands you can see the mountains and the sea. The height of the structure is 68 m, its length is about 308 m. The size of the football field is 105x67 m. The capacity of the stadium is calculated for 40 thousand spectators for the Olympic competitions, for 45 thousand - for competitions in the 2018 FIFA World Cup .
