Lyudmila Veniaminovna Zilbermints (1909-1972) - Russian bibliographer and bibliographer, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, associate professor. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Leningrad State University in 1932, before the war entered the graduate school of the State Public Library. M.E. Saltykova-Shchedrin and in 1948 she defended her thesis on the topic "The emergence of a technical journal in Russia (1825-1830)" and became one of the leading experts in the field of technical literature bibliography, was one of the founders of the system of training personnel for technical country libraries. In November 1951, he was approved as a senior researcher at the State Public Library with a degree in bibliography. Since 1948 she worked at the Leningrad State Library Institute. N. K. Krupskaya, where L. V. Zilbermints, together with I. A. Mokhov and D. Yu. Teplov, created a new department and a department of technical literature. Lyudmila Veniaminovna Zilbermints formulated a scientific program related to research in the field of natural science and technical literature and bibliography. The main scientific works of L. V.
