Nikolai Polikarpovich Vlasenko (1912-1941) - political instructor of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army, member of the Polish campaign of the Red Army, Soviet-Finnish and Great Patriotic wars, Hero Soviet Union (1940). In 1932 he joined the VKP (b). In 1933-1935 he served in the Red Army. After military service, he entered the history department of the Leningrad Communist Political-Educational Institute. N. K. Krupskaya. In the years of study at the institute was an excellent student, led an active social work. After graduation, according to the direction of N. Krupskaya, N. P. Vlasenko, signed by N. K., becomes director and teacher of the history and constitution of the USSR cultural and educational school in the town of Bor, Gorky Region. In 1939, N. P. Vlasenko was re-drafted into the army. He distinguished himself during the Soviet-Finnish war - he was awarded the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union, with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal. In 1941 he entered the adjuncture of the Military-Political Academy. At the beginning of World War II, N. P. Vlasenko was appointed commander of a tank platoon. In October 1941, he died heroically near Mtsensk. .
