On October 28, the All-Russian Workshop on the establishment of branches was held at the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg libraries in the subjects of the Russian Federation. Delegations from 79 regions of Russia, including representatives of federal authorities, regional administrations, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and heads of federal and central regional libraries, took part in the work. During the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed on the creation of branches of the Presidential Library with representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Omsk Region, the Tyumen Region and the Republic of Buryatia. Representatives of another 10 regions intend to follow the example of their colleagues in the near future. After the signing of cooperation agreements, consultations, discussions and a round table were held, during which participants exchanged work experience, made presentations on the preparatory work on the establishment of library branches, on the peculiarities of the state of library work in the regions
