Chronicle-document The final film was created in 2005 by the directors Sergey Litvyakov and Pavel Medvedev. The film is dedicated to the last front operations of the Great Patriotic War. The film is based on the materials of the Russian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents (Krasnogorsk) and the St. Petersburg Documentary Film Studio. Some footage shot by military cameramen The Soviet Union, Germany, Hungary, Norway had not previously been shown to a wide audience and first appeared in this film

St Petersburg studio dock "Long journey to Germany" - the first part of the film trilogy "Final" The documentary tells about the last battles during the Great Patriotic War of Karelian, Leningrad and 1st Baltic fronts that ended the war in Norway, the Baltic and East Prussia. In the film panoramas of the territories of military operations during the battles are shown and now, as well as the Victory Parade on Red Square Black-and-white newsreel frames are replaced by a colorful modern video series. Scenes of military actions are accompanied by committees arias announcer in the movie sound fragments from circulation records, and in Stalin's July 3, 1941, and the Soviet military song "Twinkle" and "Oh, the roads"
