In 1960, on the centennial of Vladivostok on Centennial Avenue, a cinema was built, originally known as "Ocean". Three years later this name was given to another movie theater, built in the historic center of the city, on the waterfront, overlooking the ocean. And the cinema on the prospectus of the Century was named "Iskra". The cinema has been functioning for almost 50 years. In the early 2000's. the cinema "Iskra" ceased to exist and in 2009 was rebuilt into a shopping center "Sotka"
