Ed. was carried out under supervision of V.N. Tatishchev. The work on engraving moved very slowly. In an effort to speed up the publication of ed. V.N. Tatishchev asked I.D. Schumacher limited himself to 500 copies in the first place, in order to print further later, if necessary.
