In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Presidential Library launches the Librarians - Soldiers of Victory project. The aim of this project is to create an electronic collection with the same name to preserve the memory of the heroic deeds of librarians during the Great Patriotic War in the USSR.
The collection will contain articles about participants in the war, prepared according to a special template, as well as photographs of heroes. Additionally, it will include links to relevant online resources published on the websites of participating libraries.
This project will run for five years and is planned to be completed by 2030, on the 85th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Libraries of various levels and affiliations from the Russian Federation and other countries are welcome to participate in this project.
