The Mongolian State University plans to open pre-university courses of the Russian language

The meeting of the acting leader of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in Mongolia Tatyana Budayeva and the Director of the Department of the Educational Unit of the Mongolian State University (MonSU) Luvsanbaldan Odontuya, Head of the Chair of European Studies at the Moscow State University Sanzhidhhorlo Bulgantamir, Professor of the University of Moscow, Doctor of Philology Tserenchimed Saranzatsral was held at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Ulan Bator (RCSC). The discussion was also attended by Director of the Russian Language Center at the RCSC, Dayan Borisov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed organizational issues on the opening of pre-university courses of the Russian language as a foreign language at the Mongolian State University in September 2018.

Tatyana Budayeva expressed great interest in the creation of pre-university courses and paid special attention to the selection procedure for future students. During the meeting, it was decided to exchange statistical data on the results of qualifying campaigns conducted by the RCSC within the quota for studying in Russian universities, as well as information on the number of Mongolian graduates who chose the Russian language for passing of the USE.

The result of the meeting was the agreement of the parties on joint development of organizational issues in the process of language training, as well as further socio-cultural adaptation of students to stay in Russia.

An electronic collection "Russian language" is presented in the Presidential Library portal. It included manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and thesis), dictionaries and reference books, teaching aids. The digital collection "Russian language" will be cognitive not only to specialists in the field of linguistics, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
