The winners of the XXXIII All-Polish Contest of Readers "Pushkiniana" was held in Warsaw

The State Museum of Adam Mickiewicz in Warsaw awarded the winners of the XXXIII All-Polish Contest of Readers of A. Pushkin’s and A. Mickiewicz's Poetry and Prose "Pushkiniana". 

Rewarding was timed to the birthday of Alexander Pushkin and the Day of the Russian Language. The organizers of the contest: Y. Bryl, the chairman of the Poland-East Cooperation Association; the chairman of the Mazowiecki branch of the Poland-East Cooperation Association R. Tomalyak; the director of the Russian language courses of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Warsaw A. A. Dodonov welcomed the audience. In their speeches, they noted the great popularity of the event among Polish students, highly appreciated the painstaking and fruitful work of mentors and the level of preparation of children.  

Ten distinguished speakers were awarded diplomas "Pushkiniana", gifts and books in Russian. The winner and his mentor received certificates for a free two-week internship at the Pushkin Russian State Institute of Russian Language in Moscow. 

In the final part of the ceremony, participants were able to once again enjoy the works of Alexander Pushkin and A. Mitskevich performed by the laureates of “Pushkiniana”, as well as the performance of the Polish actor, musician and singer E. Malinovsky. 

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection “A. S. Pushkin (1799-1837)”. It includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, video films, graphic and other materials devoted to the life and work of the poet and the state's activity in preserving the memory of him. 

Among the materials of the collection there is a digital copy of the Charter, awarded by Emperor Alexander I to the Imperial Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, which played a significant role in the formation of Alexander Pushkin. A great place in the collection is held by articles from periodicals of the pre-revolutionary period, allowing you to see how the attitude to the poet and his work has changed over time.
