Film festival «Кinoshort-2018» took place in Chisinau

The festival of short films "Kinoshort-2018" was held with the support of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau.

Everyone were able to enjoy the films of young Russian and Moldovan filmmakers free during three days in the club "Flamingo". The best works of the annual Moscow film festival "Konik Film Festival" were screened, after which the films are shown around the world in more than 20 countries: Germany, Finland, Poland, Montenegro, Spain, Turkey, India, Norway, Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia , the Czech Republic, Greece, Serbia and others.

According to organizers of the film festival Igor Mironik and Igor Chirkov, these are the works of the VGIK graduates, they demonstrate a fresh look of the generation of young filmmakers and cameramen.

The program of the festival included short films, made in 2017: "Farewell Pelican", "New", "Arrow", "Interesting situation", "Delicate Condition", "Shoes", "Ankle", "I died for everyone", "Smoke", "Dura", "Let the children in"; films of 2016: "Registratorsha", "Life Drama", "On the Country", "Good Day", as well as "Portfolio" (2015) and "Enmesh" (2011).

Chisinau spectators, film critics and journalists noted the importance of this cultural event and the importance of holding a film forum in Moldova that introduced specialists and the public to the works of young filmmakers and cameramen.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "To the Year of Russian Cinema". The collection, timed to the Year of Cinema in Russia, included official documents, studies, various graphic materials (posters, bills, postcards, etc.), revealing various aspects of the development of Russian cinema since the beginning of the XX century, as well as representing individual films and actors of Russian and Soviet cinema. The collection includes about six hundred documents.
