The opening of the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was held at the Tyumen Institute of Advanced Studies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia

September 3, 2018, the grand opening of the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was held at the Tyumen Institute of Advanced Studies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region Yevgeny Zabolotny, chief of TIPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Major-General Vladimir Iogolevich and director of the branch of the Presidential Library in the Tyumen Region Oleg Shor addressed the opening with a welcoming speech. The event was also attended by representatives of the All-Russian Meeting-Seminar with the heads of the structural divisions of the internal affairs bodies.

The agreement between the TIPK of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Presidential Library on the strategic partnership in the formation of a common information space in the field of history, theory and practice of Russian statehood was concluded in 2017. Now the staff and students of the Institute have the opportunity to access the resources of the largest information, cultural and educational center, as well as the application of materials from the library's electronic collections in practical activities.
