Presidential Library congratulated on the 10th anniversary

The campaign “Congratulate the Presidential Library!” timed to the 10th anniversary of the institution is underway. Congratulations in the form of short videos are sent to the Presidential Library by different people.

Representatives of the weekly TV magazine “Panorama TV” wished the institution to have a big audience and new documents, as well as “a huge queue to the library”.

Radio Rossiya, the Children's Island Channel and the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Foundation congratulated the Presidential Library with the following words: “The library is 10. Lengthy period. Let there be many victories to make it even more beautiful. Let it be a friendly team, working with great dedication. Let the music flow like a river. Good luck to all of you!”

The representative of the Grand Canyon land area noted: “We are long-standing partners. We have common values ​​and goals. We give a person a good mood and develop the best qualities in him. We base our work on the best creative ideas and projects. The Presidential Library is a place where modern technologies meet age-old traditions. This is the cultural ark of the Russian civilization”.

Director General of the ROSPHOTO Museum and Exhibition Center Zakhar Kolovsky in his video message said: “Dear colleagues, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to congratulate you on your glorious 10th anniversary, which occured completely unnoticed and occured in cooperation with us, to which I am extremely pleased. This collaboration has brought noticeable results. And I hope it will develop in the near future. Your project is unique and beautiful. This is a successful experiment in forming an institution that has never existed before, an institution with amazing media capabilities and a modern view on librarianship”.  

Alexander Kazin, Honored Cultural Worker of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Philosophy, Acting Director of the Russian Institute of Art History, in his congratulation to the Presidential Library says:

“10 years is a great age, the age of the beginning of life, the beginning of work, the launch of large projects and plans. But I know that the Presidential Library is already in full swing, although only 10 years is a small length of time... I am glad that we are neighbors in Petersburg. You are opposite the Bronze Horseman, and we are opposite St. Isaac's Cathedral. And we work closely together”.  

The editor-in-chief of the Bolshaya Peremenka newspaper Regina Azeran noted that over the past 10 years, each of the Presidential Library’s specialists has contributed his or her talent, strength, and love for the case. “And through your efforts this storeroom has gained living flesh. Anyone can now enter it. Thank you for sensible, kind, eternal things!”, - she said.

Earlier, Mikhail Shvydkoy and other dignitaries congratulated the Presidential Library on the anniversary.

Let us recall that May 27, 2019 marks 10 years since the opening of the Presidential Library - the first electronic national library of Russia. On the eve of the jubilee "Congratulate the Presidential Library!" campaign is taking place on the institution’s portal. It is broadcasted in the official groups of the institution in the social networks.

To participate in the campaign, you need to record a congratulatory video of up to four minutes and place it on any social network with the tags: #Президентскаябиблиотека_местопритяжения, #prlib_10лет, #Президентскаябиблиотека_10лет or send a recorded congratulation (with the reference link) to mc@prlib.ru up to 20 May 2019.
