Exhibition dedicated to the inventors of national aviation opened in Penza

March 19, 2020 the Penza Regional Center of Access to Resources of the Presidential Library launched a book exhibition “Creators of National Aviation”, which spotlights aircraft designers and inventors in the field of aeronautics.

The most extensive section of the book exposition is devoted to the great inventor Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. The Presidential Library’s portal features a collection of the founder of theoretical cosmonautics, including publications on the life and career of K. E. Tsiolkovsky, his works on the theory of aeronautics and astronautics, rocket science, astronomy, physics, biology, as well as philosophical and science-fiction works.

The Presidential Library also built up the electronic collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It included archival documents, essays, studies and statistical materials which spotlight the demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the region from the late XVIII - the first third of the XX century, and in addition, the current Charter of Penza Region.
