The governor of Penza Region has become a reader of the Presidential Library

May 27, 2020, on the eve of the All-Russian Day of Libraries, the Lermontov Penza Regional Library at the regional center of the Presidential Library was visited by the Governor of Penza Region Ivan Aleksandrovich Belozertsev.

The head of the region was told about the activities of the Presidential Library, which is a nationwide electronic repository of digital copies of the most important documents on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood, the Russian language, as well as multimedia multifunctional (cultural, educational, scientific, educational and informational-analytical) a center with the status of the national library of Russia.

The governor was shown electronic copies of books, photographs, and geographical maps related to the history of Penza Region. Many materials were digitized in Lermontovka and donated to the Presidential Library. Ivan Belozertsev was also told about the collections and virtual exhibitions of the Presidential Library and about the events held by the regional center.
