The exhibition “Posters of War and Victory” presented in Buenos Aires on the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow

On the eve of the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, as part of a set of events dedicated to the Year of Remembrance and Glory and the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Buenos Aires presented the exhibition “Posters of War and Victory”.

The exposition, prepared by Rossotrudnichestvo together with the V. I. Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature, highlights the bloodiest war in world history, and also shows campaign posters of the era. They are available on the RCSC website.

The large-scale electronic collection of the Presidential Library “Memory of the Great Victory” contains a large number of materials devoted to the Great Patriotic War: official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, agitation and propaganda publications, collections of articles, testimonies of participants in combat battles and workers the rear and much more.

The Presidential Library’s portal provides access to only a part of unique digitized materials which are fully available in the remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library located in different countries.
