Exhibition "Posters of War and Victory" launched in Portugal

December 2, 2020 the Cultural Center of the city of Cascais, one of the largest municipalities in Portugal hosted the photo exhibition "Posters of War and Victory", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

The exposition, prepared by the Rossotrudnichestvo office and the Russian Embassy in Portugal in conjunction with the Mayor's Office of the city of Cascais, provides visitors with military posters of the USSR, the USA and Great Britain related to the initial period of World War II, as well as with propaganda samples of the countries of the Berlin-Rome-Tokyo axis.

A large number of materials about the Great Patriotic War are presented in the large-scale electronic collection of the Presidential Library "Memory of the Great Victory". It includes official documents, photos and newsreels, newspapers and magazines, leaflets, posters, books, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of combatants and home front workers, their personal documents, images of military and labor awards, monuments and memorial complexes.
