Historical project "Let's walk the roads of war..." available for Kurgan schoolchildren

April 27, 2021 the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library within the framework of the work with the electronic resource of the Presidential Library for students of school No. 42 in the city of Kurgan held an event "Let's walk the roads of war..." dedicated to the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

The schoolchildren were told about the heroic deeds of their fellow countrymen, about weapons, without which victory over Nazi Germany would have been impossible as well as about the main dates and events of the war years. The event ended with a "musical halt", which performed the famous melodies of Victory.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the large-scale collection Memory of the Great Victory, which includes official documents, photographs and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, propaganda posters and leaflets and much more.
