The Sverdlovsk regional center of the Presidential Library summed up the results of the work of the regional headquarters of the Young Guard

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Belisnky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted the first stage of the IX Reporting and Election Conference of the Sverdlovsk regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia.

The conference was attended by the vice-governor of Sverdlovsk Region Oleg Chemezov; Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk Region, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy, Development of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Elena Chechunova, First Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Sverdlovsk Region Viktor Shepty, Director of the Youth Policy Department Oleg Gushchin; Deputy Director of the Information Policy Department of Sverdlovsk Region Kirill Kharitonov.

The conference was preceded by a tour of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library and the Belinsky Library. During the event, the Young Guard summed up the results of the three-year work of the Regional Headquarters, which launched its work in March 2019. During this period, the regional branch implemented more than 20 projects that received grant support from the regional and federal levels. The Young Guard took an active part in activities to support new bills, controlled and participated in election campaigns. According to the concluded cooperation agreement, the Regional Center of the Presidential Library is a permanent partner of the Regional Headquarters of the organization.

The Presidential Library’s features the current collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History, which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries and spotlights the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects the history of the region.
