Online lectures of the Presidential Library tell about the modern Russian language
On February 8-9, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted video lectures about the modern Russian language as part of the cultural and educational project Knowledge of Russia.
The lectures were devoted to a significant date - on February 9, 1710 the first spelling reform carried out by Peter the Great was completed in Russia, which led to a rapid growth in the printing of Russian-language books.
Candidate of Philological Sciences, Researcher at the Vinogradov Institute of the Russian Language of the Russian Academy of Sciences, editor-in-chief of the Gramota.ru portal Vladimir Pakhomov told about the most common misconceptions associated with the Russian language and their refutation.
The second video lecture by Vladimir Pakhomov "The most common myths about the Russian language" was devoted to the most common misconceptions related to the Russian language and their refutation.
The information partner of the project was the social network VKontakte.
Recording of video lectures is available in the Presidential Library’s group on the VKontakte social network. The lectures will be of interest to senior pupils, their teachers, philologists and anyone interested in the Russian language.
