Young space explorers visited the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library

On the eve of the holidays 4th grade pupils of the Penza school № 78 learned about the Regional Center of the Presidential Library opened in the Lermontov Penza Regional Library. The guys were shown how to search for books in the huge digital collection of the library and what interesting things can be found on the prlib.ru portal.

As homework, schoolchildren were offered to find fantastic stories by K. E. Tsiolkovsky and a biography of the scientist on the Presidential Library’s portal. It features Outer Space collection which includes fragments of newsreels, periodicals, books, postcards, commemorative medals and badges that spotlight various milestones in the development of astronautics.
