All-Russian BiblioMost "The Great Patriotic War: the Courage of Stalingraders" held in Volgograd

May 12, 2022 the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library together with the Presidential Library held the All-Russian BiblioMost “The Great Patriotic War: the Courage of the Stalingraders” marking the 80th anniversary of the defeat of the Nazi troops by the Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad.

BiblioMost has been joined by participants from different parts of the Russian Federation. The speeches were made from Barnaul, Voronezh, Kemerovo, Samara, Ryazan, Tambov, Chelyabinsk and Yugra. Alexei Vorobyov, Director for External Relations of the Presidential Library and Director of the Volgograd Gorky Library Svetlana Safronova greeted the participants via video-conferencing.

About 200 people also participated in the All-Russian BiblioMost “The Great Patriotic War: the Courage of Stalingraders” via video-conferencing.

The event is planned to release an electronic collection of speeches which will be published on the website of the Volgograd Gorky Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Memory of the Great Victory and the Collection of digitized archival documents, film and photo materials World War II in Archival Documents.
