Standards of technological development of Russia discussed at the Presidential Library

On October 12-14, 2022 the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3) hosted the International Technology Forum Russian Standardization Week timed to coincide with World Standards Day.

Since 2019, the Presidential Library, under the jurisdiction of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, is an annual venue for discussing trends in the development of international, regional and national standardization, urgent issues of the standards development, new challenges and practices for technical regulation, tools and opportunities in standardization.

This year, the main topic of the Forum was the standardization for technological development.

Within the framework of the Russian Standardization Week, such key issues as standards for digital industry, resetting the national certification system, standardization and sustainable development, the practice of applying international and national standards in management systems, standardization of alternative plant-based foods and other relevant topics were discussed.

The Forum was attended by heads and representatives of federal authorities, international and foreign standardization institutes, major research and educational centers, and Russian industrial enterprises.

The Forum provided a solemn ceremony of awarding the laureates of the contest for the All-Russian Public Award Standardizer of the Year.

The Forum's organizer was the Federal Technical Regulation and Metrology Agency (Rosstandart).
