Practical workshops held in Bashkortostan for representatives of the remote access centers of the Presidential Library

On March 14-15, 2023 specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of Republic of Bashkortostan held field meetings with specialists from the remote access centers of the Presidential Library in the cities of Sterlitamak and Ishimbay.

The practical workshops participants were told about the Presidential Library's collections and the possibilities of using its materials in the preparation of various thematic events. Special attention was paid to the participation of representatives of the remote access centers in the cultural and educational projects of the organization.

In addition, issues of cooperation with educational institutions and involving students in dealing with the electronic resources of the Presidential Library were discussed.

They also discussed the activities of the remote access centers and new tasks aimed at effective interaction.

As part of the trip specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library also learned about the work of the remote access centers based on Gymnasium № 1 of the city of Sterlitamak and the Roshinskaya Model Library.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Republic of Bashkortostan: Pages of History. It includes studies, essays, archival documents, statistical, cartographic and audiovisual materials that spotlight various aspects of the development of the region in the 18th-21st centuries.
