Damascus University students to study Russian thanks to online courses

The Russian House in Damascus and the North Caucasus Federal University are organizing intensive online Russian language courses for students of the Russian Language Department of the University of Damascus. The training program is developed taking into account country specifics. As a result, students will receive certificates.

The remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library opened in 2022 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Damascus today allows guests of the Russian House to learn about the whole variety of collections of the library's electronic holdings.

Visitors to the Russian House will learn about the collection Russian Language from the institution's electronic holdings. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian literature, archives, research papers, dictionaries, reference books, teaching aids and much more.

A large number of materials on Russian-Syrian relations are available in the electronic collection of the Presidential Library Russia - Syria: the History of Relations. It includes research, reference, archival and other materials that spotlight the history of relations between Russia and Syria from the 19th century to the present day.
