Schoolchildren learned about the siege of Leningrad at a video lesson at the Kurgan Regional Center of the Presidential Library
On January 22, 2024, specialists and volunteers from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library held a video lesson “Artery of Life” for students of secondary school № 50. The lesson was dedicated to the 81st anniversary of the breaking of the siege Leningrad and took place within the framework of the “Conversations about Important” project.
On January 18, 2024, on the day of the 81st anniversary of the breaking of the siege of Leningrad, the Collection “World War II in Archive Documents” on the Presidential Library’s portal includes more than 250 documents about the defence of Leningrad in 1942–1944. The materials came from federal archives and departmental archives of the Ministry of Defence, FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. One can now view them from anywhere in the world.
