Librarians of Tomsk region to be told about Presidential Library's resources

On September 27, 2024, experts from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, organized an educational event for students taking retraining courses in library science at the Tomsk Regional Innovative Educational and Methodological Center for Culture and Arts.

Library professionals shared information about the resources available at the Presidential Library. The presentation was part of cooperation between the Regional Center and the Tomsk Center, and was aimed at enhancing the skills of library professionals and students.

Participants also learned how to become readers of the Presidential Library and set up remote access centers for its resources in schools and libraries.

Towards the end of the session, students completed tasks involving searching for information on the Presidential Library's website.

The collection Tomsk Region: Pages of History is now available on the Presidential Library's portal. It contains archival documents from the 19th and 20th centuries, essays, statistics, maps, and other materials that cover various aspects of the region's development.
