Educational event in Crimean Regional Center of Presidential Library dedicated to Internet Day in Russia

On September 30th, 2024, the Dangers of the Web educational event was held at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Franco Crimean Universal Scientific Library. The event was dedicated to Internet Day in Russia and was attended by first-year students from the "Cultural Studies" course at the Institute of Media Communications, Media Technologies, and Design at the V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University.

During the event, the participants discussed topics such as the transformation of modern technology, online security, internet education, and the impact of digitalization on society. They also participated in a quiz that allowed them to test their level of internet culture and improve their literacy in this area.

After the event, a sightseeing tour was organized for the participants at the I.Y. Franko library, where they had the opportunity to explore the library's resources and learn more about its history.

The collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes archival documents, research papers, essays, photographs, and other materials that cover various aspects of the peninsula's history from ancient times until the beginning of the 20th century.
