Presidential Library takes part in All-Russian contest "No Statute of Limitations: in the mirror of historical truth"
The Presidential Library is participating in the final stage of the No Statute of Limitations: In the Mirror of Historical Truth contest, which is part of the II All-Russian Stage Production competition. The library has established a special category called For Historical Authenticity.
This year, the competition is being organized by the Russian Historical Society, the History of Fatherland Foundation, with the support of the All-Russian Social and State Movement for Children and Youth, known as Movement of the First.
The goal of the competition is to promote historical knowledge and preserve the truth about Russian history's facts and events. It also aims to preserve the national, historical, and cultural traditions of Russia's peoples among young people.
The competition was attended by theatrical and creative teams from institutions of higher education that are not professionally related to the field of culture and art. Applications were accepted from April 15 to July 12, 2024, and 63 entries from 45 universities in 30 regions of Russia and two other countries were submitted to the jury.
The jury evaluates dramatic and literary-musical stage productions that reflect the history of Russian national relations, socio-cultural, spiritual, and moral traditions, as well as patriotic values of the people within the context of historical events.
The jury for the competition, organized by the Presidential Library, includes Stanislav Pylev, the Director of the Department for Work with Federal Organizations.
The final stage of the contest is scheduled for October 17, 2024, at the Moscow State Pedagogical University. Winners will be announced on October 18, 2024, during a ceremony at the Russian State Social University in Moscow.
