
Regional Center of Presidential Library of Republic of Bashkortostan holds exhibition marking 165th anniversary of Anton Chekhov
The specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Akhmet-Zaki Validi National Library of the Republic of Bashkortostan, have created a virtual exhibition titled Everything Should Be Fine in a Person... to commemorate the 165th anniversary of Anton Chekhov, a renowned Russian writer, short story master, playwright, publicist, physician, philanthropist, and honorary academician of the Imperial Academy of Sciences.
The exhibition features interesting facts about Chekhov's life and career, as well as valuable materials from collections of the Akhmet-Zaki National Library, the Presidential Library, and the National Electronic Library.
On the Presidential Library's portal, anyone can learn the collection Anton Chekhov (1860-1904). This collection contains a variety of materials that reveal different aspects of the writer's life and work, including digital copies of books, magazines, archival documents, postcards, photographs, and texts of his individual writings, articles, and letters.
