Bibliolesson dedicated to Anton Chekhov held at Ryazan Regional Center of Presidential Library
The specialists of the Ryazan Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library, held a bibliourok (literature lesson) for students of School No. 6 in conjunction with the 165th anniversary of the birth of Anton Chekhov.
Librarians prepared a rich program, during which students learned about the life and works of the great Russian author. His works were read aloud, and rare archival footage from the Presidential Library's collection of Anton Chekhov (1860-1904) was shown.
During the lesson, students discussed the themes explored in Chekhov's works, his unique style, and his approach to character creation. In addition, children were given interactive tasks that allowed them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Chekhov's era and understand how Anton Pavlovich managed to combine his profession as a doctor and writer.
This event was organized as part of the School of Patriots educational project by the Ryazan Regional Center of the Presidential Library. The collection Ryazan Region: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes archival documents, research, essays, statistics, references, maps, and audio-visual materials covering various aspects of the region's history over different periods.
