Murmansk Regional Centre of Presidential Library held information campaign Glory to our Fatherland...

The Murmansk State Regional Universal Scientific Library, where the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library operates, held an information campaign "Glory to our Fatherland...". It united more than 60 participants of different ages, allowing everyone to express their love for the Motherland.

The readers were introduced to the resources of the Presidential Library. Among them is the section Symbols of State Authority of the collection State Authority, which includes special studies on heraldry.

During the presentation of the Presidential Library resources "Made in Russia" the participants learnt about the outstanding achievements of their compatriots. Many readers were surprised to learn that we were the first in the world to invent a caterpillar tractor, seaplane, artificial heart, plaster bandage and many other things.

The pupils of summer school camps were introduced to the Internet resource The President of Russia to school-age citizens. The children also took part in the quiz "State Symbols of Russia".

Murmansk Region: Pages of History collection is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes studies, statistical materials, archival documents, image and video materials reflecting various aspects of the region's development in different historical periods.
