9 October 2025

On October 9, 2025, the Regional Forum "Stronger Together" was held in Donetsk at the Center for Slavic Culture.

The event was organized by the Russian State Library and the Russian Library Association, with the participation of the Donetsk Republican Universal Scientific Library named after N. K. Krupskaya and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Yuri Nosov, Director General of the Presidential Library, addressed the forum participants with a video greeting. He noted: "We are continuing our cooperation with the newly reunited territories of the Russian Federation. A memorandum has been signed with the Ministry of Culture of the Donetsk People's Republic, a mock-up of the electronic exhibition "Donbass in Archival Documents" has been prepared, and a documentary film "Library Front. Donbass" has been shot, dedicated to the work of libraries in the region during the Great Patriotic War and in the post-Soviet period. A few days ago, the Presidential Library took part in the II International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities "Azov Development Forum: The Economy of Novorossiya." I am confident that the opening of the Regional Center of the Russian Library Association in Donetsk will allow the libraries of Donbass to participate more actively in the implementation of the Russian Federation's library development strategy."

The forum discussed issues related to preserving and strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values, ensuring their transmission from generation to generation, and countering attempts to falsify history, which is a crucial task that helps protect and strengthen Russia's sovereignty.
