On November 14, 2017, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Budapest hosted the opening of the photo exhibition “Flight over Russia”, organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Hungary in cooperation with the “Region” Group of Companies (Moscow), one of Russia's leading investment institutions in the financial sector.

The result of the socio-educational project of the Group of Companies “Region”, realized through aerial photography, was the publication of an album with more than a thousand photographs of natural landscapes, historical and architectural sites in 50 regions of the country.

Although the exhibition hall of the RCSC in Budapest contained only a small part of the images prepared for exhibiting on the basis of this photographic material, the exhibition gives a convincing picture of the diversity of the visual appearance of Russia and the opportunities opened for it in foreign countries in various spheres, including tourism.

The exhibition was opened by the Russian Ambassador to Hungary Vladimir Sergeev and a partner, member of the Board of Directors of “Region” Group Andrei Zhuykov.

As part of the event, the well-known Hungarian pianist Gergei Bogani, who is also the inspiration and one of the creators of a new type of grand piano, using modern composite materials in the mechanism of the instrument, performed.

Group of companies "Region" donated the exposition to the representative office for further use in information and educational work.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Territory of Russia", which includes scientific, popular scientific and educational publications, archival documents, maps, photographs and newsreels that characterize the territory of the country in various aspects and in different historical periods.

The documents are placed in thematic sections, provided with brief annotations. Each section is opened with materials of a general nature, the remaining documents are arranged in accordance with the logic of the section - in alphabetical order, by geographical names or according to the chronology of the described events.
