The Week of the Russian language is launched in the RSSC in Berlin
November 21, 2017 the Week of the Russian Language was launched in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Berlin. The deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Germany Alexander Anisimov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
The reports in the first section were made by the rector of the Gorky Literary Institute (Moscow), Alexei Varlamov - on the subject "Writer and Power"; Vice-rector of RUDN (Moscow) Angela Dolzhikova - on the topic "Potential of Russian universities in supporting Russian schools abroad".
About 100 German scholars from ten federal states (Berlin, Brandenburg, Bavaria, Lower Saxony, Thuringia, Baden-Württemberg, Saxony-Anhalt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg) take part in the events of the Russian Language Week.
Russian scientists are invited as lecturers (besides those already mentioned, the deputy director of the Institute of Culture of the Moscow State University Valery Private, heads of departments, professors, associate professors of universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Tver, Kaliningrad). Scientists and teachers from Germany (Universities of Berlin, Regensburg, Göttingen, Frankfurt-on-Oder, Bochum, Erfurt, Kiel, Potsdam, Halle), Kazakhstan and Belarus are also participating in the seminar –there are more than 20 professors.
The Presidential Library portal feature electronic collection "Russian language". The collection includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of thesis), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The digital collection "Russian language" is of interest not only for the scientific and educational community, linguists and specialists in the popularization of the Russian language on the Internet, but also for a wide range of users who love and appreciate their native language.
