Opening of the regional center of the Presidential Library in the Rostov region

December 5, 2017 the grand opening of the regional center of the Presidential Library in the Rostov region was held. It is located on the site of the Don State Public Library in Rostov-on-Don. The opening of the regional center was made possible by an agreement of September 5, 2017 on cooperation between the government of the Rostov region and the Presidential Library.

The Don State Public Library is a long-term reliable partner of the Presidential Library, - it is here that since 2014 the first remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library's resources in the Rostov region has been operating. During the active cooperation of the two institutions, residents of the Rostov region, including the younger generation, have repeatedly participated in various projects of the Presidential Library.

The Presidential Library features electronic collection "Rostov region: pages of history", which includes research, statistical materials, archival documents, cartographic and audio materials reflecting socio-economic and political aspects of the history of the Rostov region of the XVII-XX centuries.
