A charity concert for children took place at the Presidential Library

March 12, 2018 the Presidential Library hosted a charity concert for children who found themselves in a difficult life situation. This is the second event, organized by the Presidential Library in conjunction with the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Fund.

The children from the GBOU "Center “Dinamika", the St. Petersburg public organization of the disabled "Down Center", the Association of Public Associations "Bolshaya Medveditsa", the subordinate institutions of the Office for Trusteeship and Сustody, as well as the Trust of the Center "Anton is here" were invited to the concert. Just like a year ago, children and their teachers from the Siverskaya boarding school visited the charity concert in the Presidential Library.

Before the concert, the guests of the event visited the historical building of the Synod and got familiar with the activities of the Presidential Library, not only an electronic repository of books and documents, but also a large multifunctional multimedia, information-analytical, cultural, educational and scientific-educational center of Russia. A large number of events are held here annually for schoolchildren and students, both educational and festive.

Young musicians - laureates and nominees of the Vladimir Spivakov International Charitable Fund: “Lyceum” ensemble, trio of bayan players, violinists, flutists, pianists and vocalists took part in the charity concert. The performance included the music by Georgy Sviridov and Yevgeny Petrov, Sergei Prokofiev, Antonio Vivaldi and other famous composers.
