The Center for Remote Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library was opened in the Republic of Bashkortostan

March 6, the opening of a remote electronic reading room of the Presidential Library was held on the basis of MAUK "Inter-settlement Central Library" of the city of Tuymazy.

Officials and representatives of the administration, honorary citizens of Tuymazy district, employees of Tuymazy's educational institutions, museums, libraries and archives took part in the opening ceremony.

Residents of the district got access to the unique fund of the Presidential Library - electronic copies of printed and archival materials, audio and video recordings, abstracts of dissertations, as well as other materials reflecting the centuries-old history of Russian statehood, theory and practice of law, as well as the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation .

In turn, rare and valuable documents from the archives and libraries of the Republic of Bashkortostan became part of the Presidential Library's collections, and readers in Russia and visitors of foreign electronic reading rooms of the library can get familiar with them.

The central library of Tuymazy district will be able to effectively use the electronic resources of the Presidential Library for the education and enlightenment of the population of the Tuymazy district.

On the website of the Presidential Library, the Republic of Bashkortostan is represented by the collection "The Republic of Bashkortostan: pages of history". The proposed collection contains studies, essays, archival documents, statistical, cartographic, photo and audio materials, revealing the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the Republic of the XVIII-XXI centuries. The current constitution of the region is also presented.
