The Day of the Russian language for Czech schoolchildren in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague

The Russian Center for Science and Culture in Prague was visited by pupils of the school from the town of Nowy Bydzov (Hradec Králové region) with their Russian teacher. Guests wanted to get familiar with the work of the center, listen to the Russian language and learn more about Russia.

The guests started their familiarity with the RCSC with the Great Hall, where they were told about the rich program of the center and cultural events that can be visited here. The girls learned that the final round of the creative contest "Ars Poetika - Monument to Pushkin" is held annually in the RCSC in Prague for Czech schoolchildren who study Russian language. Those who wish also were invited in July to take part in the International Summer School with the study of Russian and Czech languages, which is annually held with the support of the RCSC in Prague.

Then the guests went to the library, examined its collections, leafed through the books of famous Russian writers and books of Czech writers translated into Russian. In the Crystal Hall, the girls watched children's drawings at the exhibition "Colors of the World". In the computer class, guests were shown a presentation with interesting facts about geography, history and culture of Russia, as well as educational films. The guests made a virtual trip across Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Electronic collection "Russian language" is presented on the Presidential Library portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of dissertations), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The digital collection "Russian language" will be cognitive not only to the scientific and educational community and linguists, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
